Job summary

Total Talent Resources and QFS seeks a General Supervisor for Batavia, IL to lead the Bindery crew on the 2nd shift (3:30PM–12:00AM). You will supervise production staff, coordinate workflow, and ensure schedules, quality, and safety standards are met on the floor.

The role requires a hands-on leader with at least 5 years in printing production and supervisory experience. Strong scheduling, reporting, and collaboration with Sales are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of production experience within the printing industry.
• Supervisory or technical leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with printing, offset printing, bindery, and distribution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Bindery department operations and workforce activities.
• Support hiring, performance evaluations, and employee relations activities.
• Develop and approve production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Manage labor utilization and material flow to achieve on-time delivery.
• Ensure products meet customer quality standards and delivery requirements.
• Enforce safety and quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Coach, motivate, direct, and evaluate employees.
• Maintain production records and provide daily performance reporting.
