Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Minnesota to lead daily bindery and press operations, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality output.

You will supervise production staff, optimize workflows, and partner with maintenance to minimize downtime while meeting safety and company standards. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing schedules, production flow, and team performance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise bindery and press operations to meet production, quality, and delivery goals.
• Manage and support production staff, including scheduling and performance oversight.
• Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
• Partner with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Communicate regularly with leadership on performance, staffing, and operational needs.
