TSG - The Sheridan Group in Vermont is hiring for a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This full-time role includes overtime opportunities, a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks, and a 40-hour work week with a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will learn to operate high-speed bindery equipment, set up cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, while contributing to daily production goals and safety on the floor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes).
• Takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Reliable and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace.
