Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Battery Tech for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00–10:30pm) at the Ridgefield, WA corporate office. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric-powered material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

Qualifications

2+ years of maintenance/repair on electric-powered MHE (pallet jacks, forklifts).
Familiarity with batteries, chargers, wiring, motors, and controls.
Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Experience with CMMS or digital work orders.
Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric-powered MHE including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE, batteries, chargers, wiring, motors and controls.
Log work orders and track performance in CMMS, maintain records.
Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
Assist with or learn other facility systems such as fire suppression, doors, and lighting.
