Job summary

SSA is seeking a Saw Operator to join our Wichita team on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm). You will set up and operate band saws, read work orders, and process aluminum, alloy, stainless steel, titanium, and other exotic metals to spec while maintaining safety and quality controls.

You will also move material with forklift/crane, input parameters, inspect parts, and document data in the inventory system. A high school diploma and teamwork mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent minimum.
• Ability to learn multiple functions in a complex industry.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of operating industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate band saws to cut various metals to specifications.
• Read work orders for material, type, size, and dimensions to be cut.
• Move material with forklift or crane as needed for processing.
• Input data to set band saw parameters and track inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and quality inspections per Work Order.
