Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is hiring for a General Labor, Bakery - Packing - 2nd Shift at the Hazleton, PA bakery. You will ensure frozen bakery products are properly aligned and inspected before entering the automated vision system, supporting quality and efficiency.

Role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to GMP and safety standards. The team values integrity, teamwork, and growth opportunities within a thriving bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math, recordkeeping, and timekeeping skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and climb throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and align frozen bakery products to ensure efficient processing through automated systems.
• Monitor product quality and remove defective or non-conforming products from production.
• Support equipment performance by identifying and communicating operational concerns.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and operational adjustments.
• Collaborate with production and support teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
