Job summary

Emery Air LLC, located at the Chicago Rockford International Airport, seeks a 2nd shift Aviation Line Service Technician in Rockford, IL. This full-time position runs 2pm–10:30pm on a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule, with hourly pay ranging from $19.00 to $19.50.

You will perform basic aircraft services, de-ice, marshal aircraft, greet crew and passengers, move aircraft, drive vehicles, handle baggage, and maintain hangars and tarmac safely while complying with all procedures and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be willing to work any shift in a 7-day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check (FAA, TSA, Port Authority)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential
• A valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

Responsibilities

• Providing basic service for aircraft (fuel, oil, lavatory, water)
• De-ice and anti-ice aircraft
• Marshaling planes through arrivals and departures
• Greeting pilots, passengers and crew
• Moving aircraft and driving tow vehicles
• Transporting clients and assisting with baggage
• Maintaining hangars, tarmac and client areas clean and orderly
• Ensuring a safe environment by following procedures and regulations
• Providing top-quality service and fuel quality control
