Job summary

Foxtrot Aviation Services is seeking dedicated, energetic, safety-focused individuals to join our growing team at Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD). A CIC removal technician will work on aircraft stringers, structures, and floor areas, including landing gear and behind wings, with long shifts and PPE including respirators.

Open weekend availability and high attention to detail are required. Applicants should expect 8–10 hour days, extensive bending and walking, and must pass

Qualifications

• Must pass a 10 year background check and obtain airport badging.
• Must pass a drug test (this includes the recreational use of Marijuana)
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Capable of bending, twisting, lifting and using machinery such as buffers for extended periods of time.
• Perform general manual labor.
• Open availability and flexibility with scheduling.
• Veterans must provide the form DD214 of discharge information if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Wash Prep and Wet Washed of exterior of aircraft.
• Use of hand scrubbers to remove Corrosion Inhibiting Compound in confined spaces.
• Lubrication of gear well and landing gear.
• Floorboard removal and application, vacuuming.
• Seat Track cleaning.
• Insulation retraction and replacing.
• Working with a high level of detail while standing, crouching, or lying down 8–10 hours per day.
• Medically cleared to wear an N-100 respirator and perform highly physical work in high temperatures.
• The candidate must be highly reliable.
• The candidate must be open to working overtime.
• The candidate must communicate well.
• The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work due to frequent changes in the client schedule.
