Emery Air LLC, located at the Chicago Rockford International Airport, seeks a 2nd shift Aviation Line Service Technician in Rockford, IL. This full-time position runs 2pm–10:30pm on a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule, with hourly pay ranging from $19.00 to $19.50.

• Must be 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be willing to work any shift in a 7-day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check (FAA, TSA, Port Authority)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential
• A valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

2nd shift - Aviation Line Service Technician

Salary Range: $19.00 To $19.50 Hourly

Summary:

Emery Air, LLC. Aviation Ground Support Services Division is seeking several high energy, self-motivated individuals to add to our team of aviation ground support professionals to work 2nd shift either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday from 2pm - 10:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
• De-ice and Anti-ice aircraft
• Marshaling planes through arrivals and departures
• Greeting pilots, passengers and crew
• Moving aircraft
• Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment
• Transporting clients
• Assisting with baggage
• Ensuring hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly
• Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintaining facilities and equipment
• Providing all around top-quality service
• Fuel quality control functions

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be willing to work any shift in a 7-day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
• A valid clear driver's license
