Job summary

AAR in Rockford, Illinois is seeking an Avionics Support Technician to perform avionics routine work on heavy aircraft checks. The role operates on a swing shift (4:00 PM–2:30 AM).

You will read and implement maintenance manuals, troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems using approved data, and perform installations and modifications under supervision, in a warehouse environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Aviation or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend technical direction and documentation.
• Read, understand, and implement maintenance manuals to locate components.
• Troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems using approved data.
