Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Poway, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Assistant Machine Operator II to support setting up orders, perform quality checks, and assist with production efficiency.

You will work with a small team, help operators, and participate in downtime reduction and safety procedures. The role requires a High School diploma or GED (or 1+ year manufacturing experience), ability to read work instructions, and willingness to overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1+ year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to read, follow, and complete detailed work instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up orders according to customer specs and tool readiness.
• Help with quality checks and identify issues during production.
• Monitor production metrics and communicate downtime or maintenance needs.
• Support troubleshooting to maximize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Assist with minor repairs in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
