Job summary

Liberty Diversified International (LDI) in Brooklyn Park, MN, is seeking a Machine Operator I to safely produce quality corrugated products. You will lead your crew, set up orders per specs, perform quality checks, and log production metrics to monitor efficiency and downtime.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED plus 2+ years manufacturing experience, or 3+ years in lieu of education.
• Experience with computers, including typing, printing, and data entry.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders according to customer specifications and prepare tools.
• Perform quality checks by inspecting articles to ensure quality and monitor materials and equipment.
• Enter production metrics into computer system to track progress, quality, maintenance and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and troubleshoot to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Assist Assistant Machine Operators as needed and support maintenance for minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following post order cleaning process.
• Follow plant safety processes and procedures for the machine center.
