Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Poway, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Assistant Machine Operator II to support our production team in safely producing quality corrugated products. You will assist machine operators with setting up orders, performing quality checks, stacking finished pieces, and communicating issues to keep lines running efficiently.

Reporting to a Production Supervisor, this full-time role requires attention to detail, willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; 1+ years manufacturing experience acceptable in lieu of education.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to read detailed work instructions.
• Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Support machine operation by assisting with setup of orders per customer specs and tool readiness.
• Assist with quality checks by inspecting articles and first articles to ensure quality.
• Monitor production metrics and communicate issues to leaders to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with minor equipment repairs in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following procedures.
• Follow plant safety processes and perform other duties as assigned.
