Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Assembly Technician I - 2nd Shift in Hodges, SC. Core hours are 3:30 pm–11:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a base rate of $18.11/hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

The assembler will support Low Voltage Assemblies, handling material prep, assembly, electrical testing, and packing finished products for shipment. Work in Lean/Flex/PowerWave2 lines with a strong safety and quality focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
• Eaton will not sponsor work visas for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates within 50 miles of Hodges, SC only.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, adjust, or repair products using fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools.
• Prepare materials via layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, caulking, and painting as required.
• Retrieve, stage, and deliver materials to support assembly line operations.
• Label completed assemblies and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings, method sheets, and standard work instructions.
• Follow safety policies, WSRA requirements, and supervisor directions.
• Flex to other assembly areas as needed by business.
