Job summary

STARC Systems is seeking an Assembly Technician (2nd shift) to perform a variety of production tasks, supporting assembly operations, secondary machining, quality inspection, and general floor activities. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency across all shifts and product lines.

You will follow SOPs, read work orders, and maintain accurate records while contributing to timely delivery of high-quality products. On-the-job training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, assembly drawings, BOMs, and SOPs.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, machine operation, packing, and inspection.
• Carry out primary and secondary assembly across product lines.
• Operate secondary machining equipment (saws, drill press, etc.).
• Clean and pack finished product to shipping standards.
• Support production scheduling with accurate work orders.
• May obtain forklift certification.
• Follow SOPs and quality checklists.
