Job summary

STARC Systems in Brunswick, ME seeks an Assembly Technician (1st Shift) to contribute to assembly, machining, quality checks, and general floor operations. You will work across production lines, perform routine inspections, and maintain clean, safe conditions on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, accurate documentation, and teamwork to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products. On-the-job training is provided for required machinery and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in production/manufacturing/assembly preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, BOMs, SOPs.
• Basic math and ability to use measuring tools.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, machine operation, packing, and inspection tasks.
• Carry out primary and secondary assembly across product lines.
• Operate secondary machining equipment (saws, drill presses, etc.).
• Clean and pack finished product to shipping standards.
• Support scheduling by completing work orders accurately and on time.
