Job summary

Accelera in Avon, OH seeks an Assembly Worker for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM). You will participate in precise subassembly, lockwiring, and final detailing under supervision, while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

A high school diploma or GED and up to one year of mechanical experience are required. Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, documenting test results, and following blueprints and routing documents to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Up to 1 year of mechanical experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and route sheets.
• Strong math and clear communication for recording work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test components using hand and power tools.
• Document test results on required forms with flow meters and electrical testers.
• Review blueprints and engineering orders to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure finished assemblies meet customer and industry specs.
• Apply finishes and perform touch-up painting as needed.
• Suggest lean manufacturing improvements to boost efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols.
• Keep tools calibrated and within schedules.
• Perform additional management-assigned tasks.
