Job summary

Accelera in Lancaster, OH is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing tasks, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production, and coordinate staffing and flow across shifts.

You will collaborate with Production Planning, Plant Management, and Engineering to improve throughput, mentor staff, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain accurate ERP records. Direct hire with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in a supervisory role within manufacturing.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing tasks and supervise shift to meet production goals.
• Coordinate with Production Planning and Plant Management to balance workloads and throughput.
• Assist with staffing, interviews, and onboarding to maintain staffing levels.
• Lead toolbox talks and uphold safety, quality, and attendance standards.
• Oversee material movement and ERP system usage to support production flow.
• Generate daily production reports and ensure accurate timekeeping and records.
