Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking an Assembly Supervisor for a 2nd shift (3 pm - 11 pm) to lead production tasks, monitor throughput, quality and safety, and ensure accurate paperwork.

This role requires a high school diploma, supervisory experience, and strong math/comprehension skills, plus bilingual English/Spanish communication and basic PC proficiency with industry software such as Amtech/Kiwi. Training and safety oversight are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Clear communication with employees and management in English/Spanish.
• Intermediate computer skills including Excel and Word; experience with Amtech/Harry Rhodes/Kiwi.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain all appropriate paperwork and records.
• Provide training for all employees.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and accurate inventory counts.
• Handle employee relations and communications across shifts.
