Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily manufacturing activities in our Georgia plant. You will coordinate workflow, ensure quality and safety standards, and directly supervise the shift's production staff.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential to support continuous improvement and meet production goals. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and at least five years in corrugated

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions and write routine reports.
• Prior supervisory experience or 5+ years in corrugated industry strongly preferred.
• Excellent math and communications skills; ability to differentiate colors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct production workflow; ensure quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues; maintain a plant presence.
• Direct supervision of shift manufacturing staff; evaluate performance.
• Ensure training and maintain training documentation for shift personnel.
• Review daily production reports and manage maintenance work orders.
• Uphold safety and environmental rules; foster a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments and temporary staff to meet needs.
• Support cost-efficient efficiency and quality improvements.
