Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Coralville, IA is seeking an on-site inventory/production support professional for 2nd shift (10:30 AM–6:30 PM). The role focuses on inventory, procedure adherence, and cross-functional problem solving as part of the Collins Aerospace Operations team.

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent (or 2 years of related experience) and U.S. citizenship. Training may occur on 1st shift to support transition and safety standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under the program/contract.
• Requires HS Diploma or equivalent; if not, 2 years of relevant experience.
• Collins Aerospace is part of RTX and leads in aerospace/defense technologies.
• Role may require training on 1st shift before settling on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and/or manual inventory.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Maintain accuracy of processes and meet internal/external deadlines.
• Use SAP and other computer tools; follow work instructions.
• Support cost reduction and waste minimization efforts.
• Interface with other groups to resolve production issues.
• Be able to lift up to 35 pounds and work on 2nd shift (10:30 AM–6:30 PM).
