Job summary

RTX/Collins Aerospace seeks a production technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:00pm) to operate production equipment and assemble aerospace components. You will read schematics, perform troubleshooting, calibration, and support testing per established procedures, and work with engineers to resolve manufacturing issues.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, technical aptitude, and documentation practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to manufacture and assemble aerospace components.
• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform entry-level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
• Work with Engineers to analyze manufacturing test problems and resolve defects.
• Follow test procedures to support sub-assembly and top-level testing.
• Maintain documentation and record test data accurately.
