Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking an Assembly Operations Supervisor for the Winston-Salem, NC site. This 2nd shift role (3 pm - 11 pm) leads a team and oversees all production activities to meet daily schedules while ensuring safety and quality on the production floor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of supervisory experience in corrugated manufacturing, with strong math, measurement reading, and communication skills in English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and 5 years supervisory experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Clear communication with employees and management; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills: Email, Excel, Word, and corrugated software such as Amtech, Harry Rhodes, Kiwi.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all areas of production for a single shift and lead a team.
• Direct work to meet the daily production schedule and demands.
• Ensure employees work safely and within guidelines.
• Monitor production efficiencies and rates; address issues on the floor.
• Maintain accuracy of efficiency reports and production metrics.
