Job summary

Belimo in Danbury, CT is seeking an Assembler Line Leader to drive efficiency in the Assembly Department. You will supervise the assembly team, coordinate work assignments, and ensure accurate part picking and quality throughout production orders.

You will train other assemblers, handle complex assemblies, operate basic test equipment, and use SAP for transactions. This on-site role emphasizes timely delivery, teamwork, and maintaining orderly workspaces.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical ability required.
• Ability to lift up to 44 lbs (20 kg).
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and basic electronic test gear.
• Proficient with computer interfaces (scanners, printers) and SAP transactions.
• Works under time constraints with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly team under guidance from the Group Leader.
• Assign work and support production positions as needed.
• Accurately pick parts for production orders.
• Assemble, check and package components per instructions and drawings.
• Coordinate rework processes and handle complex assemblies.
• Provide training for other assemblers.
• Maintain workplace and storage area order.
• Temporary float assignments across assembly teams.
