Job summary

Belimo is seeking an Assembler Line Leader to drive efficiency in the Assembly Department. You will lead the team, assign work, and ensure accurate picking and assembly of components per drawings. The role requires coordinating tasks, training peers, and maintaining orderly work areas.

The position operates on the 3:30PM–12:00AM shift, Monday through Friday, with a base pay of $26.25 per hour and a bonus opportunity up to 5% annually.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Average manual dexterity and mechanical ability.
• Must be able to lift up to 44 lbs (20 kg).
• Experience with hands-on assembly in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage priorities.
• Able to use computers and simple electronic interface equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly team under direction from the Group Leader.
• Support production positions with work assignments as needed.
• Accurately pick parts for production orders and assemble sub-components.
• Check, package and document finished products per instructions and drawings.
• Coordinate work assignments and provide training for assemblers.
• Handle rework processes and maintain organized work areas.

Introduction

Belimo is seeking an Assembler Line Leader to support the Assembly Department to insure efficiencies of all required processes. The Assembler Line Leader reports directly to Group Leader and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the assembly team with direction from the Group Leader
• Supports productions positions with work assignments as needed
• Responsible for accurately picking necessary parts for production orders.
• Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction, production order, work and inspection instructions as well as drawings in a quality and schedule-minded fashion.
• Execute special tasks within assembly process.
• Coordinate work assignments
• Basic software skills (label printing, SAP transactions, testing software)
• Group Leader Backup
• Coordinate rework processes
• Handle the more complex assemblies
• Provide training for other assemblers
• Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products.
• Maintain order at the workplace, in the storage locations, and in rooms of general use.
• Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams.
• Cooperation within assembly team.

Required Expertise

• High School education or equivalent
• Average manual dexterity (Hand to eye coordination)
• Mechanical ability necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 44 lbs. (20kg)
• Operate manufacturing equipment and simple electronic test equipment
• Experience with hands on assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Leadership experience
• Deal with time constraints and deadlines; skills with manipulating multiple priorities; self-actuated; sense of urgency
• Ability to use computers and other electronic interface equipment (i.e. scan guns, printers)
• Able to work 3:30PM - 12:00AM Monday - Friday
