Job summary

Belimo in Danbury, Connecticut is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechatronics Team Lead for 1st shift. You will provide hands-on technical leadership, prioritize maintenance activities, and coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong problem solving, PLC/HMI experience, and a hands-on approach to maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have Mechatronics technician experience at level II or III, a related associate

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
Experience with robotics, automated machinery, conveyors, or similar automation equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction to 1st shift Production Maintenance Technicians.
Coordinate maintenance activities based on equipment condition, production needs, and safety.
Troubleshoot and repair advanced issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics and PLC/HMI diagrams.
Lead passdown communication and support root-cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
