Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions, LLC is seeking an Assembly Lead for 2nd shift in Osseo, WI. You will guide the production floor, develop employees, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency while delivering on daily objectives.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration to foster a positive, productive work environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical college certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and maintain a positive work environment.
• Experience planning work, coordinating production activities, and managing changing priorities.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production standards in manufacturing.
• Ability to read schedules, blueprints, work instructions, and production reports.
• Experience implementing process improvements that drive measurable results.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for addressing employee concerns and conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor by exemplifying safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork daily.
• Coordinate production schedules and adjust priorities to keep lines on track.
• Coach employees and build accountability to help team members succeed.
• Drive SQDC performance by monitoring results and reinforcing expectations.
• Identify and resolve production challenges before they impact delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teams across departments to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support training and development to strengthen skills and build future leaders.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
