Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an assembler/test technician to accurately assemble and test moderately complex products. You will work with mechanical components and hydraulic systems, interpreting blueprints, orders, and specifications to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Active involvement in lean initiatives and continuous improvement is encouraged. The role requires the ability to read drawings, use test equipment, and collaborate with team members to meet customer requirements

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Parker Certified Operator or receive certification within one year of employment.
• Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
• Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex assembly/test functions using mechanical skills, tools, and test equipment.
• Records test results on data forms using electrical equipment and flow measurement devices.
• Identifies non-conformances and reworks as instructed.
• Interprets blueprints, orders, routes, test specs, service bulletins, and customer requirements.
• Inspects and approves assemblies and paperwork per blueprints and specs.
• Produces assemblies that conform to product specifications and tests to standards.
