Job summary

Valmont is seeking an assembler in Claxton, GA for the Global Utilities Division. You will assist in daily manufacturing activities across multiple departments and support production with pre-fabrication, material handling, and quality checks.

Typical duties include assembling workstations, inspecting materials, and coordinating with QA to meet quality standards. The role requires reading prints and operating with safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read and use a tape measure.
• Flexible to work extended hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pre-fabricate materials per engineered design prints.
• Gather, inspect, repair, and replace reusable materials for production rotation.
• Work with QA to perform cosmetic corrections to meet quality standards.
• Assemble workstations and place materials in boxes.
• Clean work area and store equipment, tools, and materials properly.
• Assist with inventory and unloading trucks and checking received goods.
