Job summary

Valmet is seeking an assembler to join our production team in a fast-paced facility. The role focuses on assembling and testing valves in line with production and quality guidelines, including VQP procedures and strict material control.

You will pull and stage parts, record inventory transactions, and ensure accurate labeling and packaging for shipping. The position requires night shift availability and familiarity with ISO 9001 processes in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of assembly or related production experience.
• Ability to work night shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality processes and testing procedures.
• Capable of reading blueprints and identifying part numbers accurately.
• Proficient with pneumatic and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves following Valvtechnologies guidelines and QA standards.
• Test valves per production and quality control procedures (VQP 011).
• Pull parts for orders and maintain organized work area.
• Stock inbound freight and update inventory via barcode systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure misloads are avoided.
• Clean and organize department; follow safety practices.
