Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. in Taneytown, MD is seeking a Precision Assembler for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM ET). You will prepare assemblies, read blueprints, and perform tests to ensure high-quality equipment for customers.

The role requires reading drawings, using micrometers, CMMs, and other tools, following safety rules, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required; benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Complete assemblies according to drawings and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Test requirements and perform testing.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends on short notice.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper assembly procedures.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment according to drawings, instructions, and work orders.
• Operate precision measuring tools to verify specifications.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble during repairs.
• Document work and prepare routine reports.
• Support CIP activities and Flowserve policies.
