Job summary

Aerotek is seeking mechanically inclined Assemblers for a 2nd shift at the Milwaukee manufacturing facility. You will use hand and power tools to assemble products, build metal brackets, and operate equipment used in the coil winding process.

Comprehensive training is provided to expand your manufacturing and mechanical skills. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site work, and a pay rate of $20.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, tape measures, etc.).
• Ability to perform basic math and read a ruler.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to assemble products and complete customer orders.
• Build metal brackets according to specifications and work instructions.
• Operate machinery used to unwind copper wire.
• Wrap copper wire around metal brackets to create finished assemblies.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in company training programs.
• Read measurements and perform basic calculations as needed.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
