Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for an Assembler on 1st shift at our climate-controlled facility in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves assembling products with hand and power tools, building metal brackets, and operating copper wire unwind equipment. Training is provided to grow in manufacturing and assembly skills.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and experience with measuring tools. This is a full-time, on-site position with a stable 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools/equipment.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and read a ruler accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Build and assemble metal brackets according to specifications.
• Operate machinery used to unwind copper wire.
• Wrap copper wire around metal brackets following established procedures.
• Read measurements and perform basic calculations as needed.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
