Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking an Assembler I for the 2nd Shift in Colonial Heights, Virginia. The role involves working cooperatively in a production team to manufacture high-quality Glass, Doors, Frames, and Subcomponents.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with 1-2 years of production assembly work experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401k retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of production assembly work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts into completed units following specifications.
• Inspect parts and completed units using various inspection tools.
• Perform end of line product checks and repairs as necessary.
• Communicate with team members to ensure product specifications are met.
• Assist team with problem-solving during assembly.

Skills

Basic reading/writing skills

Good communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Understanding of 6S

Ability to read and understand job specifications

Education

High school diploma or GED
