Job summary

Dover Corp forges ahead in Conyers, GA, seeking an Assembler II to join a production team manufacturing glass, doors, frames, and subcomponents. You will follow work orders and SOPs to meet daily safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.

You will assemble parts into sub-assemblies and finished units using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools; inspect with gauges and calipers; maintain 6-S in your area; and report any defects to the lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of production assembly experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and fractions/decimals.
• Basic math and PC skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies and completed units following work orders.
• Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools per instructions.
• Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Keep work area clean and follow 6-S principles.
• Set up equipment under supervision and perform inspections with gauges and calipers.
• Report defects to lead or supervisor.
• Follow SOPs and assist with cross-training.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
