Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Assembler-2nd Shift in Sioux Falls, SD to join our production team. This role performs routine assembly of window balances, handle sets, and locks in a climate-controlled environment.

The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2:30 pm–1:00 am. You will operate equipment, follow written and verbal instructions, and use a computer to fulfill orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a computer to complete orders.
• Clear communication with team and supervisors.
• Attention to safety hazards and safe work practices.
• Ability to stand for long shifts (10 hours) and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow written, visual, and verbal instructions.
• Operate a computer to fulfill customer orders.
• Utilize machines and other equipment throughout the assembly process.
• Ability to lift and move 35 pounds.
• Perform assembly tasks while meeting production standards.
• Adhere to all safety rules and quality standards.
• Maintain good attendance; cross-train as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
