Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division in Franklin, Wisconsin, is seeking Assemblers for the 2nd shift, a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday. Starting pay is $18.27 per hour, with a 10% shift premium based on experience. This position offers on-the-job training and benefits from day one.

Assemblers will perform tasks such as wiring and soldering while ensuring a safe and productive work environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with mechanical and electrical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations efficiently.
• Ability to work in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs all stripping, crimping, and cutting operations related to wires.

Assembler Job Duties

• Assemblies, wires, solders
• Performs all stripping, crimping, and cutting operations related to wires, regardless of size.
• Makes mechanical adjustments as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English, add, subtract, count and record with extreme accuracy, measure, multiply and divide whole numbers efficiently and follow instructions.
• Consistently perform work in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
• Responds well to changes and demonstrates initiative.
• Accepts responsibility for actions and work performed. Generally has a positive attitude.
• Functions well in a work team environment.
