Job summary

Yaskawa in Wisconsin is hiring assemblers for a 4-day work week on 1st shift. The shift runs Monday to Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm with on-the-job training and benefits eligibility on day one.

Tasks include stripping, crimping, and cutting wires, performing mechanical adjustments, and maintaining safety and accuracy. Requires HS diploma or GED, ability to read/write English, and basic math; experience preferred and teamwork encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English, add, subtract, count and record with extreme accuracy, measure, multiply and divide whole numbers efficiently and follow instructions.
• Consistently perform work in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
• Responds well to changes and demonstrates initiative.
• Accepts responsibility for actions and work performed. Generally has a positive attitude.
• Functions well in a work team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all stripping, crimping, and cutting operations related to wires, regardless of size.
