Job summary

Yaskawa is currently hiring Assemblers for our weekend shift at the Franklin, WI facility. The shift runs Friday-Saturday-Sunday, 5am to 5pm, and the role involves performing wire stripping, crimping, cutting, and related mechanical adjustments.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred 1 year of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience and the ability to read, write and record with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent related work experience.
• 1 year manufacturing experience in mechanical/electrical roles preferred.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic arithmetic accurately.
• Commitment to timely, safe, and thorough work.
• Willingness to adapt to changes and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform stripping, crimping, and cutting operations on wires of various sizes.
• Make mechanical adjustments as required.

• Performs all stripping, crimping, and cutting operations related to wires, regardless of size.
• Makes mechanical adjustments as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English, add, subtract, count and record with extreme accuracy, measure, multiply and divide whole numbers efficiently and follow instructions.
• Consistently perform work in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
• Responds well to changes and demonstrates initiative.
• Accepts responsibility for actions and work performed. Generally has a positive attitude.
• Functions well in a work team environment.
