West Star Aviation in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Gulfstream Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to perform mechanical tasks, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and inspect aircraft components on sophisticated corporate jets.

You will work under supervision with growth opportunities through AMT levels, enjoy a 10%-15% shift premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training, immediate benefits (medical, dental, 401K match) and the chance to transfer to

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-2 years for AMT I / 2-4 years for AMT II / 4-6+ years for AMT III / 6+ years for AMT IV depending on level.
• Strong knowledge of aviation maintenance basics; supervision levels as described.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• Defueling and engine removal/installation tasks as required.
• Operate ground support equipment and inspect aircraft components.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training and maintenance databases with basic computer skills.
• Communicate effectively in English, in speech and writing.
