Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform mechanical tasks, troubleshoot systems, remove/install panels, and support inspections on civilian aircraft, with a schedule 3pm–1am and shift incentives.

Candidates need an Airframe or Powerplant license (Airframe preferred) and a high school diploma. AMT I–IV experience levels are outlined, with increasing responsibility.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years aviation maintenance for AMT II.
• 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Communicate clearly in English.
