Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN.

You will troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems, including panel removal and installation, and related maintenance tasks. This full-time, on-site role offers a 2nd shift with a 3pm-1am schedule, a 10–15% shift premium, and competitive benefits including medical, dental, 401K match, paid time off, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electronics/avionics training preferred.
• Driver’s license valid for airline travel and/or passport ideal but not mandatory.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair avionics and aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to component level.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Assist in maintenance of shop facilities, tooling, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers and team members.
• Work with project management, pricing, and customer support as needed.
• Operate with minimal supervision on assigned projects.
