Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN to perform maintenance repairs and troubleshoot aircraft systems.

This role involves working with ground support equipment and following prescribed maintenance tasks on various aircraft. The position includes a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Thu 3pm-1am) with a 10-15% shift premium, paid lunch, 3-day weekends, and airframe training with opportunities to transfer to the 1st shift after

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required for AMT I/II/III, with preference for Airframe license.
• 0-2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2-4 years for AMT II; 4-6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft and engine removal/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Communicate in English clearly (speaking/writing/reading).
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
