West Star Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift in East Alton, IL. This full-time, on-site role involves mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work on civilian aircraft, including part removal and installation, troubleshooting, and inspections.

The position offers growth through AMT levels I–IV, competitive hourly pay, benefits starting Day One, and a strong team culture in a hangar environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Driver's license ideal.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required for respective AMT levels; licenses preferred.
• 0–2 years for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.

Aufgaben

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft system issues.
• Engine removal and installations.
• Operate ground support equipment and mobility devices.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling.
• Communicate effectively in English.
