Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Apprentice Fabrication Technician on 2nd shift at our Rocket Development Facility. You will support ground equipment used to test LOX and fuel systems, working alongside experienced technicians, fabricators, and engineers on critical space infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GSE, repairing hardware, following safety and quality policies, and obtaining required licenses or permits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification from a 2-year technical school.
• Experience with hand tools and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Provide ground support equipment (GSE) technician support, building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LOX/fuel-related equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Operate and maintain hardware, high-pressure systems, pumps, and pneumatic components.
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.
• Ensure materials are clean and inspected according to Clean for Oxygen Service Standards.
• Build and maintain structural and engine test equipment.
• Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required.
• Follow regulations and company procedures, including safety and quality policies.
• Develop novel ways to streamline processes and increase testing reliability.
• Perform duties in support of engine testing and structural test stands.
