Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Fabrication Technician for 2nd shift to build, maintain and upgrade mechanical and fluid systems supporting rocket testing and launch campaigns at Starbase, TX. You will work with a focused team to rapidly assemble launch propellant assemblies for the Starship program.

Responsibilities include supporting LOX/fuel pad equipment, operating high-pressure hardware, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Overtime and physically demanding tasks are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 2+ years of industrial experience with installing pipes, bending stainless tubes, or working around high pressure systems or mechanical systems
• Experience with ground support equipment in aerospace or space exploration context (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide ground support equipment (GSE) technician support: build, install, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, tanks, valves and plumbing for LOX pad and fuel pad facilities
• Operate pumps, high pressure systems and pneumatic components
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment
• Collaborate with design engineers on GSE activities
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, NFPA, ASME, NEC)
