Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Starbase, TX seeks a fabrication technician on 2nd shift to build, maintain and upgrade mechanical and fluid systems supporting rocket testing and launch campaigns.

You will work with an elite team to assemble launch propellant components, operate high-pressure equipment, follow safety and compliance policies, and collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in space exploration or high-reliability environments.
• Experience with ground support equipment in aerospace.
• Mechanical work with machines and tooling.
• Formalized mechanical training and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide GSE technician support including building, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting LOX and fuel-related equipment.
• Operate hardware, high pressure systems and pumps.
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.
• Ensure materials are clean and inspected according to standards.
• Build and maintain structural and engine test equipment.
• Obtain and maintain licenses or certifications as required.
• Follow safety and regulatory policies.
