Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Apprentice Instrumentation Fitter on 2nd shift at our Rocket Development Facility in Texas. You will work with skilled technicians, fabricators, and engineers to build, install, and maintain ground support equipment used in engine testing for Lunar and Starship programs.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or technical certificate and hands-on experience with hand tools and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or certification from a 2-year technical school.
Experience with hand tools and blueprint reading (gained through a 2-year college or technical program).

Responsibilities

Provide GSE technician support: build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment (pumps, tanks, valves, piping) related to LOX, fuel pad, and site facility.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation as needed.
Operate and maintain hardware and high-pressure systems, pumps, and pneumatic components.
Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment.
Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.
Ensure materials meet Clean for Oxygen Service standards.
Build and maintain engine test equipment and structural test stands.
Obtain and maintain required licenses or certifications.
Follow regulations and company policies including safety and quality policies.
