Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Team Leader to oversee Lean initiatives on-site. You will lead team leaders, coordinate overtime, ensure safety standards, and monitor production quality to drive efficient product flow.

Ideally you will coach others, apply Lean principles, and communicate across departments, with a strong emphasis on leadership and problem solving. This is an on-site role with day-to-day supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead others and influence behavior.
• Ability to supervise employees performing their tasks.
• Strong problem-solving, feedback, and coaching skills.
• Works with limited supervision and demonstrates initiative.
• Completion of TLDP or equivalent leadership development.
• Experience influencing teams and applying Lean principles.
• Willingness to learn and train others.
• Experience as a Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Leads MDI board meetings and other Lean related activities.
• Assigns work schedules and coordinates overtime.
• Ensures employee safety and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Monitors the quality of products and work.
• Troubleshoots simple machines, processes, or products.
• Leads and trains team leaders, provides feedback and coaching.
• Communicates with team members, supervisors, and across departments.

• Leads MDI board meetings and other Lean related activites

• Leads and trains team leaders, provides feedback and coaching
• Frequently communicates with team members, supervisors, and across departments, and with plant leaders
