Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced engineer to lead technical direction for new product development, spanning requirements, design, integration, and testing. You will define system architectures, decompose requirements, and evaluate trade-offs across multiple disciplines.

You will also guide design reviews and investigations into failures to ensure reliable, cost-effective products. The role requires 8+ years in system design and product development with a BA/BS in engineering, and will

• Perform system and performance test planning and execution.

What you will do

In addition, they effectively communicate technical direction to senior management and functional teams that span all engineering disciplines, as well as product management, sales, quality, supply chain, and operations.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline
• 8+ years experience supporting system and subsystem product designs, validation testing, and root cause analysis
• Proven success in helping conduct new technology and new product development projects to improve the function, reliability, or cost of products and components

Compensation

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $113,050.00 - $143,700.00 Compensation Type: Salary Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country.
